Ideas For Kids Birthday Parties

You always hear about those mothers who start their own businesses, but you never think that you will be one of them. As a mother of four, I have been an expert on ideas for kids birthday parties for several years now. I have to be. All of my kids have very different tastes so I have to know where to get the birthday party supplies, how to design the party themes, and how to organize and plan everything for the best event possible. It is no picnic. 

Every parent aspires to be a birthday party planner, at least for her own kids, but this is harder than it looks. When you have a dozen kids coming over, all with very different temperaments and very different tastes, keeping them all together at a party can be a nightmare. If you do not plan things out perfectly, it will all fall apart and no will have a good time. Let’s just say that, over the years, I have honed a considerable skill in implementing ideas for kids birthday parties.

My first thought was to start a birthday party supply store. You see, when I bought supplies for kids birthday parties, I would have to go to three or four different places. Depending on what kind of birthday party it was, I might have to spend all day driving around to different shops. I figured that, whatever idea for kids birthday parties you had, you should be able to get it all in one place.

Unfortunately, the overhead for starting a shop was just too high. I did not have the investment capital. Then I realized that I could be a birthday party planner. I had some great ideas for kids birthday parties. Other parents called me all the time, asking how to put their parties together. Why not take it one step further and do the parties for them?

I started out working for my friends, putting their ideas for kids birthday parties into practice. At first I did it for free, but soon I was making a nice little side profit from it. It was not a serious career, but it was something. I was excited about it. I loved planning birthday parties and throwing them for other families.  It made me feel appreciated to actually be pulling in some money with it too. soon, my business in ideas for kids birthday parties was booming. Now we are a two income household,  and I am proud to be a small business owner.
