Five Tips for Outstanding Baby Nursery Decor

You baby’s nursery will be the place she will experience some of her first sensory signals and will spend the first couple of months sleeping and having a quiet alertness. You can achieve both a calm and soothing environment for your bab’s nursery as well as providing stimulus for her brain to grow and develop. In using these five steps, your baby’s nursery will provide so much joy.
Tip 1; Finding the Serrenity
A baby nursery should have a tranquil and peaceful nature. Babies will thrive in an environment that is calming and allows them to be relaxed and observe the world around them. It is good to consider colours that are good for a serene atmosphere, like cool greens, browns and blues. Also, consider other pastels, like purples, pinks and mauves for the desired effect.
Tip 2: Consideration of the Sex of Your Child
If you know the sex of your baby, use images that influence your child in the way you want. While, most peopel still lean towards blue for boys and pink for girls, toady’s baby bedding is vibrant and clourful. There are lots of beautiful bright colors and patterns to choose from to help you design a gorgeous nursery you’ll want to show off to all the neighbors. Bright patterns and colours will also stimulate baby’s brain development
Tip 3: Understanding How Your Child’s Brain Develops
The brain of a newborn and infant is constantly growing and firing. A lot of brain development will happen in the first two years, therfore making babyhood and toddlerhood an important time in a childs life. Besides black and white, red will be one of the first colour your baby can see. Try using strong , vibrant colours to stimulate the brain and encourage confidence. Also, consider the theme of animals or other images that the child will identify as the child grows.
Tip 4; Choose a Transitional Theme
To avoid redecorating your baby’s nursery as they transition into toddlerhood, you can choose a theme and that will transition well. When decorating with a baby jungle theme, paint the walls a gentle green or brown as it will transition better than themed wallpaper or murals.
Tip 5: Select Accessories Carefully
Accessories in your baby’s nursery should be given some consideration as you don’t want them to be hazzardous when your baby becomes active and curious. Instead of choosing accessories for your baby’s nursery because they fit the theme, try using items in a colour or pattern that go with your theme instead. This could be a wall diaper holder, a pretty lotion dispenser to sit atop the changing table or dresser, or even a hamper or toy box that will transition well as they grow.
