Why go to Devon?
Lets be honest with the current downturn everyone is fed up with all of the town/city life and what everyone needs is a break for a few days to a nice area in which there are several things to do with the family. So go on take one of those family holidays and treat you and your family.
The one everyone has heard of, the Eden Project
This is easily the most famous attraction in Devon and one of the most famous in the country and has something for the entire family to take part in. The two gigantic biomes demonstrating the Rainforest and Mediterranean are brilliant and it is really good for learning about two massive areas of the planet. If you are a fan of music which lets be honest there are not many people who dont like listening to music then you are in luck as bands such as the Kooks play there every summer.
The coasts tour
This one really appeals to me as I love coastel creatures so I really loved going on this tour. This is brilliant as you go through a tour of all of the worlds unique coasts seeing animals and plants unique to them on the way. There are loads of animals there ranging from seals to puffins. This is brilliant for animal lovers and people who are interested in learning all about the coast.
Beaches-
The five beaches add to all of the things you can do whilst holidaying here. These brilliant beaches are as followed, Torre Abbey Sands, Oddicombe, Meadfoot, Paignton and Goodrington. Two of these five beaches have got the yellow flag award but that isnt to say the other three aren't simply amazing because they are fantastic.
So there you have it some brilliant reasons why you should pack your bags up and head to Devon when you next have a few days off. It's a place for everyone not just old couples but every member of the family will enjoy something here. If you are still not convinced why not try one of the dancing holidays or even one of the bowling holidays if that’s what you are in to. Whatever it is you choose to do it is certain you enjoy yourself.

Why a dancing holiday is great for relaxation.
When watching the recent series of strictly come dancing on BBC one my parents decided that they wanted to dance during their spare time so they took up lessons just a few weeks afterwards. Well they did and after a few months they had booked one of those dancing holidays in Torquay. I personally would not attend such a holiday as I have never been interested in dancing and as a youngster I am really not interested.
On the other hand my parents thought they would give the holiday a chance and to my surprise they actually enjoyed it and in all honesty it sounded like a great four night break. It really was just the thing they needed. My parents would certainly go back again this year based purely on how friendly the atmosphere with no-one sitting down unless they were worn out or having a drink.
There is no where else that I can possibly think of where everyone in the room is friendly and approachable, if you were to walk into a pub or club and try to speak to anyone in there it would be impossible. It's brilliant that there are still places in this country in which everyone around you is so friendly with eachother.
Well according to them they arrived to a recpetion with drinks being served under a nice atmosphere as well as having two dancing mornings with coffee breaks and four nights dancing along with the last night being a fancy black and white ball.
Lets be honest dancing is still something the majority of young people do not want to take part in but at least the room is safe, the people are friendly and that is something that you do not find easily in other activities.
I have to say I would still rather play my computer games than take up dancing anyday but I will also admit it is a great idea to bond with your partner. I know that it is certainly something my parents would do again next year and maybe even this year as apprently the prices are very reasonable. It is certainly not one of those family holidays to take the kids on but it is defiantly worth it for anyone that loves dancing as you get to do what you love as well as meet people who share the passion that is dancing.
